Doudak كتب "He who is without sin
A friend of mine introduced me to this website and cautioned me that the news of our church might be too upsetting to read.
In some ways,he was right. And I thank him for what he did.But what shocked me is not the problems exposed. We read these problems in the news every day.The only difference is that the news here is about people we know and men who we look up to.
But why are we so upset with the situation. This is normal.
Jesus said in John 8:7"He who is without sin among you,let him through a stone at her first".
I do not doubt your zeal for the church.Read John 8.The Pharisees had zeal for their faith and their sinagoges.Their solution in this chapter of John 8 was to destroy the sinner by stoning the adulterous woman. But Jesus pointed them to the real solution. He basically pointed them to look at their heart.Read again John 8.We know what hapened latter.A year or two latter, they followed up by crucifying Jesus.
The Bible teaches us to seak holiness by coming daily to Christ by readying His word and praying for ourselves and others, including our leaders.Condeming those that have sinned does not solve the problem.
In Luke 8,two went to the temple to pray;one thanked God because "he does good and he is not like the others".The second could not raise his eyes to heaven, but said"God,be merciful to me a sinner".Which one of them was justified?
Which one of them are you?And What do you want to do about it?
As for me,I will bless them and pray for them.Lord,be merciful to me a sinner.
Lord work on their hearts.Show them your Glory.Lord, visit your church. You said that "You will protect your church and the gates of hell will not destroy it.
Lord, let me see the the wood in my eye before I see the speck in my brother's eye.
Lord.......save them and protect your church.
